The Moments of Now photos
Behind most of the images shown here is the concept of the present. They reflect the brevity, the fleetingness but also the decisiveness of the moment. They don’t want to show the beauty of the world, nor the ugliness. They either show that something is decided now or that the moment simply passes or reflect a precious moment. Reality is what it is.
We see photos that are intended to show how fleeting the present is. And that it is our only chance to influence what comes later. Or that there are moments that are so perfect that we just want to enjoy them.

The Minox photos
The following photos were all taken with Minox and other small cameras in 8 x 11 mm negative format. The images are intended to show what these cameras are technically capable of. Of course, many of the images also have a strong connection to the theme of time.

I recently caught the MINOX bug and stumbled across this site while doing some research. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe the level of respect I have, for not only your images, but also the extensive and fastidious information you offer up. I have been photographing for over 35 years, and can honestly say that I have never encountered such well curated and executed investigations. Your comparison of the COMPLAN lens, was exquisitely presented and implemented . You thought of every possible variable and properly accommodated for it. Again, I am astonished by the entire body of work presented on this website! All I can say, is: Thank you for sharing such wonderful material with the rest of the photography community. You inspire me to go out and make more images!!!
